Greetings from the East my Brothers,

Greetings from the East my Brothers. What a fantastic start to the year we have had! First and foremost, Congratulations to W:. Charles Monte on being awarded the Distinguished Service Award! He is a Brother who has the Lodge in his heart and has done much to deserve this award. I hope to arrange a dedication ceremony at our April 18, 2017 meeting. Please pass the word and call all Brothers to this meeting.

Second. Our brother and town councilman, Bro. James Wooten will be the Marshal at the Jamesport St. Patrick’s Day parade, congratulations Bro. Wooten! Unfortunately, I will be out of town for that event but if Brothers would like to march in the parade I would strongly encourage you to support one of our own.

Our first meeting in March will be the third degree. This will be the last degree that we need to confer with all our own Brothers to apply for the Meacham Award. We will receive last year’s Meacham Award at the March 18th Grand Lecturer’s Convention. Let’s got for two in a row. Also, I should we not secure enough Brothers to attend March 18th, we must return the Attendance Award. Spread the word. Let us keep the award on the east end for another year.

Last, our April 4th meeting will be a first degree. This degree will showcase our own Bro. Mike Sokel as the Master for the degree and our JD will be the SD. This degree will enable us to bring in applicants before we go dark and free up the fall schedule for our 150th celebration. Please support your Lodge and come out.
